I’ll be the first to admit, furniture has never been an interest of mine.  I was always bummed when my Mom drug me to Saturday garage sales in search of the prefect piece to finish the living room, instead of taking me to laser tag.  Turns out, I learned a thing or two while tagging along to with her.  First, I learned to hustle kids out of their Playstation games at three dollars a pop (pre xbox era).  And two, learned to bundle Goosebump book collections with rare baseball cards (American Pickers would’ve been proud), while going through a very influential stage of my life (main reason I’m cheap as shit).

All that aside, I remember passing up unique pieces that people were disregarding at the edge of their driveways for mere dollars.  At the time, I could have given two shits less, but looking back, I now realize how important/valuable some of those items were.  Shops are popping up all over the place selling throwback furniture for thousands of dollars.  Not that I’d ever drop that cash on something like that, but, I’ve become fond of the quality and timelessness of such items.
